Is your horse's mane a tangled mess, but you ran out of Show Sheen? Did your horse's tail find a cockleburr bush, but you don't want to spend lots of money on expensive detangler at the tack store? Give this easy DIY mane and tail spray a try.
Grab an empty spray bottle and try this super easy homemade mane and tail spray:
That's it! Shake well before each use. You can find a large bottle of conditioner at your local dollar store, or even use up some conditioner from your shower that you're not using. It is a great way to recycle unused conditioner, and is a low-cost detangler for your horse that smells great.
Got super tough tangles? You can even use a mix of 50% water and 50% conditioner. Spray very lightly, as a little will go a long way at this strength.
Happy Trails (and Silky Manes!),
